We are trying to conceive and I am not sure when I am ovulating..please help?

My last period began on January 31. It lasted approx 4 days. When shoud I be ovulating?

NOT ALL WOMEN ARE THE SAME. The whole "14 days after your period" is just a generalization... it could be day 11, or day 19, or you could have long cycles like i do, and ovulate on day 24 or any number really, the best way to know is your cervical fluid. Thats the "weird" stuff you sometimes see in your underwear. if its slick and clear, youre ovulating. if its thick or there really isnt any, youre not.
Look up charting your basal body temps. By checking your temperature everyday before getting out of bed, you can figure out when you ovulate.

Most women ovulate 14 days after the first day of your period. This would mean you ovualted Feb14. This is just a general rule.. all women are different. The rule of thumb is you ovulate 2 weeks after you start your period and you start your period two weeks after you ovualte. If you want to know for sure you can get an ovualtion predictor kit. i just found out i'm preggo after 3 months of trying. i had been tracking my period with the online ovulation calculators. and after 2 months. no luck. so i bought an ovulation predictor kit. i found out i was ovulating about 9 days after i thought i was. i do have very regular periods. i just ovulate at a strange time in my cycle. one month with the predictor kit. and bam. i'm pregnant. you can get the kits at walgreens for about $12. good luck!
