Good lord dont buy a Honda unless you like to have it stolen. Apparently its the most stolen car known to man. Especially the accords. Mine was stolen last weekend and if at all possible I would like to save everyone the drama of having to deal with this. While they are a very dependable car, they also have little to no theft deterent. Good luck on your car search.

I just bought a '07 Mazda 3 about a month ago. LOVE IT! It's a great little, yet spacy car. Mine was 18000, but I got a few addons that made the price jump. The price starts at 15000 though.

The Honda Fit. Honda engines are quiet, reliable, and nearly bullet proof. The Fit has a great hatchback design that really makes the most out of the car's frame. The engine has a very fun, broad, linear power band that really revs and has the "zip" when you need it. You'll also get a host of features included with it. Really wish I had bought one!

toyotas and hondas are very quiet. ford........used to be kinda noisy as well as nissan. i have a new ford and its very quiet so they may have fixed that problem recently. the last time i had a focus i traded it in in 2003 for a nissan. If u r feeling sporty a dodge charger, challenger, magnum, and nitro are all under 20K and fairly quiet and mostly reliable...........however toyota and honda will definately hold their value when u r ready to sell. Dodge and ford will not and nissan is in the middle.

You can buy a lot of good used cars with that price. If you want a new car, you can't go wrong with any of the Scions. They are inexpensive and reliable.

Toyota Camry is now under $20,000 also.

Saturn has a wonderful track record for reliability and service; the car is as wonderful as they advertise and its backed up by caring people. (I don't even have shares in the company ;<)
