The final era of the republican power in congress is coming to a close, and accepting the fact that the people have spoken we need to get out of Iraq, and let other countries fight people that don't understand what freedom is all about. All the abuse with contracting monies to rebuild Iraq, I believe that money belongs here in our country and support those that help us. Victory comes when there is no more wars, and when you have a purpose, and we will be ready financially and military ready.

When you say "The final era of the republican power in congress is coming to a close". What exactly do you think happens in politics? Just because a republican was in office this time, doesn't mean it won't be a democrat next.

How about a little information here: Europe, Japan, S. Korea, parts of the USSR and, in fact, the Soviet Union, China and Viet Nam have all taken up capitalistic ideology because of us. We are the only nation that can put troops on the ground and sustain them long term to assist oppressed peoples in the world... No one else can do that! The mere presence of the United States has always defined the occupied nations future economics, for the better.

And, while we are chatting about it. Take the US out of world politics, and isolate us, not only will we go broke (the dollar is no longer supported by gold or silver). We have a 9 trillion dollar national debt owed to just about every nation that exists. You hear about all the people that hate us but most upper level politicals in those countries know this: They need the US to do what it does!

At this time, the only problem we can't fix world wide, is fanatical islam and we have been fighting them for over two hundred years starting in places like Tripoli aka Lybia.

When you decide to get a little educated in the subject you'll find that the United States is bigger than life. The little punches that Iran, Syria, N. Korea and even the Cremlin throw at us are to make them look good in front of their populations or current elite.

War in Iraq is bad, hopefully those people we put in office can figure out what to do about it. But, I'm for making sure every swinging johnnie in the world knows: The United States will not tolorate genocide, wmd's, mass murder or anyone atacking us.

I cant wait to see how much you people DONT complain when your Liberal government starts wasting untold trillions trying to stop global warming. Stand by for huge tax increases to fund that misadventure!
That will make the money spent on the war in Iraq look like mere pocket change.
