Knowledge = Power
Time = Money
Now, everyone knows that Power X Time = Work
So Work = Power X Time = Knowledge X Money
Therefore Money = Work / Knowledge, which proves that the less you know the more money you will have.

To have knowledge is to be dangerous (In a good way).
I have street and book knowledge and wouldn't have it any other way. I am equally proud that my book knowledge extends beyond the borders of the United States. The smartest thing I ever did was study American History through the eyes of someone else. I view politics, religion, humanities, and various other subjects in a not so bias and brainwashed perspective way the "average" American does. Notice I said, "average", so if this applies to you, be offended!

"Knowledge is Power" only when it is utilized correctly.
The utilization of knowledge is "correct" when it is used for the right purpose and in the right manner. If not, knowledge can infact prove to be a burden!
Remember that there is also a saying "Ignorance is Bliss" which gives you a different way of looking at the same knowledge.
Ironically, I was thinking about this for a while especially the conflict of the adages : "Knowledge is Power" and "Ignorance is Bliss". If interested do check the post "Is Ignorance Bliss?" on my blog:

Knowledge can be power. Having knowledge does not guarantee power. It is what one does with knowledge that transforms knowledge into power.

It depends on what kind of knowledge you are storing up and what your definition of power is. Knowledge and power without wisdom is empty and dangerous.
