I was born 4-4 and usually this number has positive connotations like my birthday. I'm not really into numerology but lately feel a negative vibe connected to fours and yahoo. Best answer goes to serious answer.

I don't know about 4s and yahoo, but I do know what you are talking about. The only difference is that the fours started popping up within the last few years (more often 444) then anything else, and it's always seemed kind of negative to me. Well, not so much negative, but daunting? Like proceed with caution almost.
I also have a friend who has the 444 thing happen to her a lot too. I'm not really into numbers or anything, but I do remember looking it up some time ago and there were a lot of interesting meanings.
I've seen that in chinese it means death. However, I've also seen where it just means the ending of something and not actually negative.

Ok 4 means Balance it is a tough number that is why the Chinese consider it unlucky

In Chinese culture, the number 4 is avoided (much like the number 13 in America) because it sounds the same as the word for die/death.
Personally, I think that it's just coincidence. I've looked up conspiracy theory websites and honestly...you can create whatever numbers you want out of anything you want. One website I read claimed that FOX Network was run the Satan because...
F = 6th letter
O = 15th letter and 1+5=6
X = 24th letter and 2+4 = 6
Thus, giving you FOX=666=Satan. It made me laugh for a long time because it was just such a stupid train of logic.

Hmm recently i found this too my name is Sean but that cant be spelt using japanese charectors so my name gets spelt as Shiyon. Shi means 4 yon means 4. But in japanese everyone uses yon, as Shi is associated with death. i suppose if we thought hard enough we could find a meaning to every number to us, so i guess you should just go with your instincts on what it means to you
