I'm going to be an exchange student next year (hopefully in Italy) and I'm curious as to what to expect.

ANYTHING is better than American 'teen' culture- whatever that is! Just go and have a good time!

Hi, I live in Italy. Italian teenagers are pretty similar to American teenagers....for the most part they like to go out dancing at the clubs (discoteca), like to go out drinking with their friends, like to go shopping (especially girls), and like to listen to music. The great majority of them have a cell phone to call their friends and boy/girl-friend...etc. etc. You'll have a blast. What part in Italy?

They are more health prone, and pizza is usually a second choice.
