I have stopped taking birthcontrol pills 2 months ago. I got my period in a month, so that was great. But this month together with my period I got this headache that does not want to go away. I had it for 7 days, and no pills help. Does my headache have anything to do with the birthcontrol pills? I do not know what to do at this point.

Yes it could. migrane headaches are often times related to hormone levels. When you stop taking birth control pills it takes time for you body to re-regulate itself. You should notice that the headaches will get better the longer you are off of the pills. Good Luck!

It may have to do with your hormones adjusting, but any new headache should be investigated professionally, particularly if it is the worst one you ever had.

I know that estrogens can cause blood clots/strokes, so I would definitely be worried if the headaches started when you were ON the pill, but they started when you discontinued the pill, so you need a headache evaluation by your family practitioner. There are a ton of causes for a headache, and it's hard to tell them apart without knowing where it hurts, how bad (if you had to rate it out of 10), how often, whether it's constant or intermittent, etc.
It could be caffeine, though (some headaches are improved by caffeine, others made worse).

Good Luck.

This happend to me & the birth control pills caused an elevation in my blood pressure & that caused headaches. I went on a blood pressure pill for 1 month & the headaches went away. Advil worked very well for the headaches. Good luck & God bless !!!
