I have a IBM Thinkpad R31, it has a S-Video out but i cannot get it to display on my TV....I have the TV set for the right channel for using the S-Video (Tv/video 1) but when i try to display my laptop on my TV it will not work....Any suggestions??

Fn + F7
On my IBM iSeries I press the Fn key bottom left and F7 key.
Be aware this work 3 ways. LCD on, S-Video on or both. So, if your laptop monitor turn off do not freak out, just press the buttons until you get what you want.
I should add, I never connected to a TV, but, if the display not correct go into Control Panel > Display > and set your display to something like 800 X 480 or whatever the lower setting is, I not on my laptop and not remember.
