i don't think so because (1) the story to assassins creed is going to be fictional and (2) the story will probably have nothing to do with the crusades, just the places where the crusades took place

Uh, it takes place in the past, in the area of where the Crusades occurred. If thats offensive to you, perhaps you shouldnt buy it. Or be Muslim. Personally, I find that bringing up the Crusades usually upsets the Christians, as they hate living in the past and being shown that they used to be as bad as jihadists are today....
No offense intended. It just amazes me how religion tends to cloud people's minds more than helping them....

I have not played it so i'm not sure. but I would imagine that if you are buying a shoot'em up game that has muslims in it that they would be portrayed as terrorists or the enemy of the game. Now that does not mean that they are trying to offend muslims or that they are talking about all muslim, I mean there are like 1'000 games where germins are the enemy but non of them are offensive to germans........I think as long as you take it for what it is A GAME then there is nothing to be offended about

In my experiance, it doesn't take much to offend Muslims.
