I would like to know from the people how you feel about the Muslims in YOUR country? Love them or hate them? How have their lack of assimilation affected your way of life? If you are a Muslim, How do you feel about being a Brit? Is life what you expeced it to be when you chose to leave Muslim nation for a western home? I am really curious. Love to y'all!

I could be nice and say not all muslims support terror ,not all muslims would like to see britain under sharia law ,not all muslims support the brutality and oppression toward women, but I would be lying.

So ,im sorry if the truth hurts, muslims dont want to integrate, they detest our values and culture.Frankly ,I dont appreciate the way they have turned our beautiful cities of Bradford ,Dewsbury and Huddersfield into filthy replicas of their homelands.

Unlike muslims,I dont want to force the world to follow my religion,I dont want to go to their nations of origin and sponge from them.
I want to live in the great country that our ancestors built up and defended over the centuries.I want to reap the benefits of my parents taxes and pay taxes for the benefit of my children.

Unlike muslims ,I am not racist and would be happy to see them prosper and live life in peace and contentment.Only it would be better if they did this in a country that could fulfill their needs.

im muslim.
my grandfather fought in second world war, my mum and dad both served in british army for over 30 years, protecting this country.
My parents are white british and i was born and raised here. I have never been out of this country and do not wish to leave. Tony Blair may be an a**e but its something that we have to put up with for now.
All my family are Christians, and they were quite happy for me to convert when i married my husband.
I work very hard, pay my taxes and support my family.
I havent cut myself off from all my friends just because i have converted and i do not try to force my religion on to people.
I have found though that i receive more racism now. If i state to a muslim person from another country that i am muslim, i am accepted, but if i say to a white, british person that im muslim, i am looked at with hate and disgust. I do not wear a scarf or head dress, i still wear western clothes, i just make sure that im covered.
The one time that i did wear my headscarf i was spat @ in the street by a white english person, is it ok to do that??

In answer to your question, life is not what i expected, and i havent even moved from a different country.

Muslims don't intergrate. The British public have been cheated and deceived by countless governments in the last 50 years. The British public did not ask to have all these people here and they did not personally invite them either. Now that we have a dualistic culture we are told by the powers that be; be tolerant, be accepting while there needs and requirements are put before everybody else.
I wonder whether my grandad would have gone off and fought against Hitler if he could have seen the state of the nation today and what his comrades sacrifice would have achieved 60 years later.

There is hardly any integration between the Muslims and whites in this country, how is this going to make the UK a good place to live in. With all due respect to the British Muslims they seem to be the ones that are stand offish they keep to themselves, in their own areas, hardly ever speaking English, dressing differently from the average person, all this making it very difficult to integrate with the rest of the British people. I always thought everyone had to get together as one nation namely the UK.
It brings to mind Rudyard Kiplings adage, east is east and west is west and never the twain should meet.

The muslims I know are ok, but I dont know that many.
I honestly think that whoever goes to live in whatever country should to a large extent assimilate themselves. Obviously keep your own religion and customs, but you should at least learn the language, obey the laws, respect that countrys culture and beliefs and so on. No one can live in a different country and expect that country to change for the minority.

I don't have a problem with muslims but I think the problem is you get terrorists who generate a bad name for muslims, then you get uneducated people who think all muslims are terrorists, then you get racial hatred on both sides.

Its a cycle really, and although I'm proud to say I'm a brit I'm slowly losing that mind set as I see how corrupt our government is and how uneducated and stupid most people are.

Happy to have several Muslim blokes as workmates and friends, but In a month I probably speak to immigrants from at least 15 countries, and loads of religious backgrounds. Yet I've had more conversations with monks than I have from Muslim women. Integration of Muslims seems to be going backwards rather than forwards, and that's a shame, because I believe united we stand...

I couldn't give a damn what colour/religion/faith a person is....i DO care when certain people demand that the law of a country is change to accommodate them.....
The law of a country is set by years of discussions by the elected few...why should this then be change because of the threat of violence.
If people wish to live in a country then they should abide by the set laws.
(PS..Mikey mossom has obviously never heard of freedom of speech then....it is actually people like you that stir up the hatred.)

It a small glorious Island filled with history and charm. Islam will change that with its intolerant ways and Tony Blair will do nothing to stop it..... I agree with Henry,my Grandfather fought the Nazi's and would be furious if he was alive to see the leaders of the free world give it all away to rouges. Its no wonder there are fascists.
