This year is the year of the Nashville Predators. Between the old yet suddenly surging forwards like David Legwand, Martin Erat and Scott Hartnell; the new, incredible additions like Jason Arnott, J.P. Dumont, Paul Kariya and Peter Forsberg, their newest addition and with two incredible goalies in Chris Mason and Tomas Vokoun, the time is definitely right for this team. I mean, they're second place in NHL scoring behind Buffalo, who are now without the services of Maxim Afinogenov for a good 6 weeks. These guy, even though they're beating down on St. Louis, Chicago and Columbus in the central division, have obliterated many of the stronger teams like, most recently, San Jose 5-0. They have everything a great Cup-winning team needs and I strongly believe they will bring the Cup to the Music City.

I'm thinking its gonna come down to 4 teams. It looks like either the Sabres, Ducks, Sharks, or Predators will win it. The Devils look like a 5th team thats ready for it as well. With Nashville picking up Forsberg and having the 2nd best record overall, and only a win short of having the best, I'd say they are the odds on favorite. Still i love the Sharks and I think once they start to get it together, they can come out victorious. The Ducks have a fabulous defense, the Sabres have fabulous team chemistry, and the Devils have fabulous goaltending. It will be fun to see who wins it in the end. Again, Nashville is the favorite, but my heart says San Jose! Go Sharks!

Well considering my 2 favorite teams are Buffalo And Anaheim, i'll go with that. They are both very good teams. Everybody has their predictions and reasons why teams will win, but.........Even though I'd like to see Buffalo Or Anaheim win, nobody knows. A team could collapse, or loose key players. Based on stats though, Buffalo Or Anaheim

I'll stand by my previous answers, Anaheim over New Jersey.

Obviously, Nashville is looking a lot better for it than they did a few months ago or even this time yesterday.

And really, all the teams are so close that anybody who makes the playoffs would not surprise me. Even Pittsburgh, another team that a month ago I would have said "no way".

No one ...Betteman traded the Cup for Lakers tickets. They will now play for Lords Dixie Cup. Goals are going to be round, Ice will be replaced with wood and all games will be televised on UTube via 64k bandwidth......hmm do I seem bitter?

Atlanta Thrashers will win. The past two winners were Tampa Bay and Carolina. All three are in the same division and it's Thrashers' turn. Regular season record means little, neither Lightning nor Hurricanes did well in the regular season either.
