i have the disk to do it i just dont know what all to do

First off, don't call it rebooting...rebooting is just restarting your computer.
Anyway, all you should have to do is put the CD in the drive and restart the computer...it should boot to the CD and start the recovery process. Warning...you will probably lose everything that is on your computer now, so backup everything important.

That depends on a lot of things. First of all, what operating system are you using, and second, what problem are you trying to solve?
