What is a Livener?

Is it some sort of new drug in the clubs? I've heard people talking about getting some liveners but have no idea what they are talking about.

A `livener` is a refill, or something added to a drink to spark it up a little.

If you've been out the night before and have a hangover,going to the pub the next lunch time for a livener usually makes you feel a bit better.Best to have the same drink you had last the night before.
