Future, obviously is 100% uncertain.
But... thinking of how could it be... I wonder.... is future tomorrow? is future next year?... is future 100 years from now or maybe 1 million?
Future could be planet earth in total harmony with humanity.
Future could be planet earth along with a new superior specie and humans extint.
Future could be devastation, war and hunger.
Future could be human colonies spending vacations on Mars or the Moon.
Future is: infinite probabilities that may turn real one second away from NOW!

We will keep seeing things developed in such a manner to the extent we get amazed with advancement of science, knowledge and Technology....
My personal view....We wouldn't have time to witness MUCH on what we anticipate to see in the FAR FUTURE because we would have destroyed each other then before we had had the opportunity for deep exploration we all anticipate to see...
I don't really know, but it is evident to me that the year 2023 will be the time DRASTIC DILEMMAS would be seen on earth...
In other words, THE FUTURE IS DARK & DULL AT ITS BEST AS I CAN READ IT NOW...
By the way, I am not a PESIMEST as you may imagine, but take a deeper look into what's happening on the world, and you may realize what I'm talking about...

Yeah, and I certainly hope we're not headed for the socialist oblivion that it looks like we're headed for.
We will never have intelligent self-aware robots/androids...though I'm sure some geek will be able to create a robot that could fool a lot of people into thinking that it is self aware. Futurama is fiction...but it is entertaining.

the future may be really scary, with all of the things going on in this world. the sun is slowing burning thru the ozone layer!! the constant threat of nuclear War might happen. this crazy war in iraq. and all of these Terrorists getting smart-her, bolder, spreading their terror all over the world. you stop and think about that for a minute and you will see what i am talking about!!

i am heasitant to dwel on it as i know that with every amazing wonder that comes along it is closly followed by an equally gahstly horror like e=mc 2. who will be sacrificed for our next great thing?
