Passions is the often crazy kind of silly daytime soap that has supernatural themes as well as tradtional themes. I am hunting for a new show to replace it this fall lol. Please help. go to nbc.com/passions for more details. Let me state that I tape it not watch it and at times can be as far as 6-8 weeks behind due to having a life which includes my job and my social life so I am looking fo another show to fill the gap. Any way any and all suggestions appreciated. Please keep them g-rated and do not make fun of me I know its pathetic but I still like it!

I do watch passions but usually don't admit it.. I also watch young and the restless I watched it since I was four years old. It doesn't matter if you watch it everyday you can always pick it up. It is the best Soap.... Go to The website . The stories right now are great. Enjoy.

It's not pathetic. I tape AMC & OLTL and watch at my convenience.
I'd suggest you watch the Daytime Emmys and see which soap gets the most awards. That should tell you it might be good.
Sounds like you've got enough tapes for quite a while. If you start watching a soap on ABC, you can join their Message Board and always have someone to ask a question to. Plus, they're fun.

It sucks that Passions was canceled...It's the only soap I really liked because it was supposed to be dumb. The other soaps just are :). If it's a show with a supernatural theme you are looking for I recommend "Supernatural" on the CW Thursdays. It's a really good show with drama, humor, hot guys, and the dark side. And it's really well written and acted too.

to be honest, you might have to get some old dvds of twin peaks or something...
... i never watched passions, but saw a clip for it once with some old woman takling to a leprachuan...
I asked my wife .... "WTF is that?
She said "oh thats a soap opera i used to watch when i was at home in daytime"...
...i said... "errrrrr ok...."
