They rested Shaq for the first half of the season. I think he should hit his prime game shape for the playoffs. Is that enough for a run at the championship, they may still make a trade to make them even better. Will they make a run at it?

They can make it to the Finals again from the east standpoint as no one in the east is that great or can stop a healthy Shaq.

Getting to the finals always gives a team a chance at a title and they did beat the MAvs last year who are the top team out west so far but who knows how bad the mavs will choke this year.

They have a great chance since they're in the east and only have ot beat 1 west team if they get that far. Wouldn't be able to do it as a west coast team but still.

You can never count out defending champs especially the Way Wade can take over

until the playoff picture is not complete, every single team in the NBA has a chance right now. Come Playoffs time, it all depends on how healthy, tired & focused the team is; I would try and trade Jason Williams for a good perimeter defender to help the aging Eddie Jones, so we don't have to suffer too much against Chicago and kill Detroit.

They'll make an exciting run but will end up being bounced out in the second round. Either the Suns or Mavericks will be the world champions when this season ends.

They will make a run and should win the Eastern Conference. As far as the NBA title, no, not this year. The Mavs and the Suns are much better teams and whoever survives the West win end up as NBA champions.

no. if they make it out of the east, there's no way they beat any of the top teams in the west. dallas, phoenix, san antonio, houston, and lakers are all better than miami. there's no way.

nope it's not gonna happen this year they didn't do anything to improve themselves from last year althought they won it with the team that they have but i just don't see them winning it again with this roster

i dont think so. they just arent playing up 2 their potential this year. I mean, D-Wade is doing fine, but they other guys just arent pulling it together.
