Probably, I am considering psychology, and I have more then a few times "sat on the couch". I think that is why I am seriously considering going into the field, my problems and other people's problems aren't why, it is more about the science of thoughts that attracts me.

Definitely. It's required as part of the internship. It takes 12 long years to become a psychiatrist. If you are seeing one that gives you a bad feeling or who makes you suspicious, change before you waste anymore money. Good Luck!! @8-)

I believe so ! I actually think that alot of people that go into the psychiatric field, have gone in there to get self help for their own problems. I know somebody that is studying in this field for that very reason.
