Perhaps it is because some people inspire intense emotions in one another. It's either love or hate and when things fall apart, love is no longer an option.

We can only truely hate someone we once loved.

Its called clocking up all the bad manners!!! when you notice things about that person that you really don't like, but at the time, choose not to say anything. These build up over the period of time, because your trying to convince yourself that there is more substance to this person than the occasional bad habit, or because you really fancy each other and he or she is very hot! Then BAM! that person is no longer good enough for you or has even reached your level in life. You realize that you are selling yourself short of having a beautiful relationship and a life with someone who does not lack emotional support or who appears so self centered. I could be wrong, but it appears that you were in lust as love does not breed repulsion. Good luck.

Sometimes people change. How long have you been together? Maybe it was something you did, or maybe, he did something and feels bad about it. Do you still want to love him? Does he still want to love you? Sit down and talk and be prepared for any answer he gives. Good Luck
