In September 06 I got hurt at work and was told I have Chostral Condritus, which is swealling of the cartledge in your chest caviity and here it is Feb 07 and Im still in alot of pain. NO amount of meds helps, it snuffs the pain a little but doesnt make it go away, Does anyone know what can make me heal faster or is my doctor right it just takes time? How much time too?

You need to have your doctor refer you to a physical therapist. The meds are helping with the symptoms but not the root of the problem, which is probably a mechanical problem with how your ribs move. Your physical therapist is the boimechanics expert on your health care team, and should be able to help you puzzle this thing out.
Go to APTA.org, click on "find a PT", and search your home area. I recommend someone who is designated OCS = a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. At least, go with someone with experience, as the chest is a tricky place.
Good luck!

My brother had that when he was in high school. It does take time, but I would suggest if you don't see improvement soon, a second opinion never hurt anyone. :) Good luck!
