Whata are they like, and are they better than glasses?

I want to wear them because I think it would be alot better than putting glasses on everyday and not having to worry if you are gonna break them.

They are uncomfortable at first, but most people get used to them quickly. Disposable lenses are the best. They are better than glasses for a few reasons:
There's no distortion
You can put your eye right up to the eyepiece on a camera or microscope
If you sleep with contacts in you can wake up and see without having to find your glasses
You don't have to turn your whole head to see something

It's personal preferences. I wore glasses for 5 years and it didn't bother me then. Now that I wear soft contact lenses, it's even better for me. I can wear any sunglasses I want. They do make them very comfortable these days. I do wash them if I wear them more than 8 hours at a time.

Contact lenses are a great advance on eye glasses. You have to get used to them, but this doesn't take long. You'll look and feel much better with contacts, I promise!

I have contacts and i LOVE them. They're definetly more work than glasses but its worth it. The first time you put them it you'll get frusterated since you cant get them in and it'll feel weird but you cant just see a square or a circle clear, you can see everything. Make sure that you clean them though because if you dont your eyes will hurt! Have fun and hope i helped!

They okay as long as your eyes are hydrated. I think they're better because you don't worry about carrying something in your face. You can always wear sunglasses with your contacts and they're practical. I use the soft contact lenses.

I wear soft contacts - Accuvue w/ HydraClear. They are comfortable and easy to care for.
I prefer them because I have a small bridge and my glasses tend to slip.

At first they are a pain to get in your eyes, but once you get the hang of it they are better than glasses.

they r actually better....it may take some time to learn how to put them on but once u get used to it...its really cool...but when u get contacts u need to get another pair of glasses becuz it might take u a while for u to put them on and stuff...i go to skool and i wear them everyday..it takes me about two-5 sec...

I can't really explain what they are like, except that under strange circumstances (i.e. dirt in you eye, wrong solution, very exhausted) , you usually can't feel them. If you play a sport or are really active they are great, if you aren't, they are still great, you just don't appericiate them as much. Hope that helps! :)
