How do I become more observant?

I noticed the ones who are successful in life are more observant and those who are clumsy and failures are the ones are oblivious to their surroundings. I therefore want to know how to become more observant and attentive to detail, any advice?

It starts for me when I walk out my front door.
I'm not noisy, but I notice everything. Same thing
on my job. I just don't talk about alot of the things
I see that are wrong there.
