Remove immediately after fry's hatch.

You should NOT remove him as soon as the fry hatch!! You should remove him once they can swim around. There is a short period of time after they hatch and before they can swim that he needs to be in the tank to tend to them! It's only about a day (depends on a few factors) but without him in the tank any of the fry will die.

Do not remove him until the fry are free-swimming. Even after they hatch, they will still need his care while they develop into free swimming fry.

You should remove the male as soon as the fry hatch. It will not hurt the fry, because he will not take care of them or feed them once they hatch.
Plus, he needs time to put on some weight because many males refuse to eat while tending to the eggs.

Well When the male has made his little bubbles only then can you put the female. You must immediatly remove her then when the babies are born you MUST MUST seperate them. Or he will eat them!
