i have been using this service for a little while now (6+ months), and have noticed how more frequent the delivery of badly scratched, broken or just simply the wrong disc is supplied.
when you complain using their "report a problem" link, all you get is a standard automated apology that is about as insincere as a bout of gastric diarrhea.

has anyone else had this alot of trouble with tesco and/or lovefilm. could you let me know by email of your troubles and the responses you got from them. i am compiling a list which i will forward to the senior management team at Lovefilm and also pass on to Watchdog, citing the sales and supply of goods act.

many thanks.

i will not enter in to any correspondence with any emails sent to me you can provide as much or as little info as you wish.

whsmith use lovefilm too.
i already tried them, they were just as bad so i'm guessing it is Lovefilm that is really the bad company here. i may go back to using blockbuster at least you can use their stores aswell and get discounts.

I use WH Smith too, and I've only had 1 dud film out of about 100 so far. We'd waited and waited for Hostel to arrive too, so we got a take away and a few bottles of wine and settled down to watch it. We were 3/4's of the way thru when the scene froze. We had to skip to the next scene and it was fine again!! We were really disappointed!! Not cos the film was a dud, but because we thought the film was a bit crap. After all the hype we were expecting it to be a little more gruesome (unless it happened all in the one chapter we had to skip which would be sods law!!) :o) Give WH Smiths a go!

I had exactly the same with blockbuster. This won't help your campaign, but I now use W H Smiths and it is great - strangely this uses lovefilm as well, perhaps they pay for a better service.

i am currently on 3 months free trial with tesco/love film but will not be renewing as they are not sending DVDs out when they have them back it seems to take on average 3 days to send out new ones especially around Thursday and Friday. when i emailed them about this i was told that they do not work weekends, not sure how that works!!
