traditionally in dream dictionaries losing teeth used to symbolise losing money!
however dream archetypes are very personal, and rarely representational - that is they represent something other than what they are. a dream about teeth does not necessarily mean you have a problem with your teeth.... so you have to ask yourself, what do your teeth symbolise to you? looks, food, health? also, what does your dentist represent? does he look like a friend, family figure, authority figure? could he actually represent an aspect of your own personality?
dream interpretation is an interesting psychoanalytical tool, but you have to know yourself very well in order to recognise what your dreams are really trying to tell you. i think the toothache is co-incidental!

I think It's just a coincidence. You were probably having a toothache while you were sleeping and this caused the dream. I don't think it means anything

ur teeth prabably stared hurting while u were unconscious and this may have affected ur brain on a subconscious level.
u r most unlikely to lose all ur teeth and this is a remarkably common dream which i think i have also had.

i had a dream about a friend a while ago
she had written a piece about an ex girlfriend of hers.
anyhow, the punch line was....
me saying..."Would it help if I pretended to be a lesbian??"
anyroad, it seemed sort of funny at the time, i guess!!

good night
hugs xoxox

I had the same problem about dreams involving my teeth falling out. I got a dream book and it said that those kinds of dreams mean you are concerned or worried about your health. Makes sense to me!

First of all, teeth in a dream can be interpreted as changing of ages (ie teenageer to adult). Also , I think your dream wasn't a coincidence.

It's a mortality dream reminding you that you are a mere mortal like all of us and one day you will die.
