If i had to label myself i would have to say im a prep because of wearing hollister ae aero and a&f but i still dont understand why we are hated or loved tend to be popular or ppl think we think were better than everyone!?!? explain plz!

umm..i dont thinkk that preps r the most popular ones..the most popular ones wear things u cant find..ppl with wat u wear tend to have a lot of friends and r nice.(therefore they r loved)..they might be hated cause a lot of ppl wear it..but i dunno..the majority of my skool has rockerss! <3..i come from the north.. staten island, NY!

I don't think being a prep has to do at all with the way you dress and how you look because I wear preppy clothes and if anything I'm prettier than all those preppy girls but despite that I'm still one of the least popular people in school. I think it has to do with personality and being cheerful and friendly. That's why people probably hate them -- because they're always so cheerful, confident, and friendly and it's just the kind of thing that annoys people sometimes. The reason it probably annoys people and causes them to dislike preps is because their bubbly peronality and friendliness might come off as FAKE to people.

The only thing popular about them, is that everybody hates them, except for the losers who want to be them. The preps at my school have been "popular" forever, now that we're all in high school, it's starting to get to their heads(they actually say it out loud in front of everyone). Being "popular" or a prep is not what you wear, it's just something you're born with.Everyone at my school wears hollister,aero, and American Eagle. Even I wear that stuff, but I not trying to be anyone but me. Titles are what keeps us from being ourselves. While you're trying to fit into whatever crowd you want to be in, don't lose yourself. It's not worth it.

Most preps are popular cuz they are alway so cheerful and happy woopdeedoo...some ppl hate them because of that..for example me =)...i just think they are a little weird and just TOO happy...im not saying that all preps r like this..but Most are...

I don't understand why we have to lable eachother as it is. Just because you shop at Hot Topic doesn't mean your a freak, I have plenty of shirts and accessories from Hot Topic and I still LOVE my Abercrombie hoodie and adore buying jeans for American Eagle. I don't think people should be labled by the clothes they wear, they should be labled by the kind of person they are inside and how they treat others.

I like to dress Preppy but I'm not preppy(lifestyle wise). However in the north, being pretty is not very bad and a common, accepted style. :)

But idk why they hate us...?
I think it might be b/c we're cheerful
and funny,and has great taste in style ;D
and lots of ppl love usâ¥
and theyre just jealous
