why is so important to some people that everyone choose their best answer. and not put it up for a vote?

but I do enjoy voting.
I like it best when I get a best answer chosen by the voters rather than the asker.

it's simple. because everyone wants to get points. and u know, sometime if the asker like the question, he or she put a good comment. then they become friends. like i've made 5 good and really good online friends via yahoo answer.

cause you get 3 points for choosing and only 1 if someone else picks it. du, plus its more personal.
