I wrote an essay explainging my hardships growing up, i.e. getting molested, not having much money, living in a two car garage for a while, verbal abuse in family, ect.
can someone help me with a title for it? please?

How about "In the Shadow of Sorrow". Has some nice alliteration and describes your sadness that still overshadows your life.

Without reading your essay, it's really hard to entitle it. Usually it makes an essay sound a lot more professional to make the title a two-parter, separated by a colon (eg. When I Was Young: The Story of a Child Actor, or something along those lines). In your case, judging from what you've said about your situation, maybe you could call it "Raising the Bar: A True Story of Overcoming Hardship" or something like that. Hope that helps!

I think "Imprints of Pain" which conotes that the impression of what you've gone through has left it's marks but they are no longer binding you - like a wound.
