Sometimes I think it is cute when a girlfriend of mine will call me by my first name. Sure, I like "sir" and "mister" but its nice sometimes to let things be casual. Ofcourse, not in public where she needs to use proper and formal terms of addressing me.

No. He lets me call him by his nickname, but not his real first name. I asked him if I could one time and he came back with, "you don't call your dad by his first name do you?". I called him it one time anyway and then he called me by my first and middle name. That made me nervous.

well i can call him by his nickname he hates his first name plus mo one knows his real name but me but i dont call him mister or sir in public he doesnt own me

My husband knows I respect him so there is no need for me to use those terms on a daily basis. The only time they are used in our house is when I'm in trouble!!!!

Yes, I call him B*tch. When we're out sometimes I'll formally address him by calling him Stupid B*tch. He's got it good....some women charge men to call them by their name.
