Do you feel the price of some magazines is too high and which ones?

Red and Vogue and even Cosmo seem a bit pricey especially since they are full of adverts.

FHM is expensive :D but yeah most magazines make there money from selling adverts. The bigger the circulation of the magazine the more money they make in advertising. Thats why you can always buy a magazine subscription alot cheaper then buying the magzine off the newsagents shelf and have it delivered to your door once a month.

Magazines are becoming increasingly more expensive due to higher production costs. While your favorite glossy fashion magazine might seem to be expensive even though it's full of ads, you have to realize the rates per page, on average, are trending lower and costs to do business (all those articles) aren't cheap. Also, the market for print advertising is shrinking as other forms of marketing become increasingly attractive to advertisers (which drives the price per ad page even lower).

All of them are high especially not form the U.S. French Vogue is $15 a pop. I know its form France but goodness.

I agree that most magazines are too pricey.
These include the ones you mentioned and also O (Ophras), and all the sports magazines.

All magazines have gone up since the first of the year. I can't afford them for my Glock any more.

pratically anything that feels like a book is way too expensive. but something that is little are ok(pricewise) but your done with them in 30 minutes.....
