Definitely Mario. They haven't put out a half-decent Sonic game in 15 years.

Mario. There is more variety in them than in the Sonic games. And the "New Super Mario Bros." for the DS is the best yet - even the mini games rock!

depends on what game it is...mario is good in a lot of his games, but sonic is okay in some of his games too..but if i had to choose i would probably say mario because unlike sonic where it only goes straight across the screen, mario doesnt he can move in all different directions where as sonic only really moves in one or two different directions...

Sonic man. I've played all the sonic games to know that it's better. Sonic is so cool, he can roll really fast and collect rings. Mario can't even jump far. Mario collects tokens, tokens suck.
