Put them in the freezer and wait a good 20 minutes.. the cold will harden the wax and make easier to peel off from your jeans.

Oh goodness people and their answers anyways
No get a towel and put it on your jeans get an iron if you have one and set it to a lower setting then you iron over the spot with the towel still on your jeans. The towel will soak up the wax.
I know this works because my daughter spilt wax on the carpet and I did that with the carpet and it worked and now you can't even tell anything was ever there.
Hope this helps.

Put the garment inthe fridge for a few minutes. GENTLY scrape off the excess wax. Next, put a plain brown paper bag on your ironing board. Put the garment on top of the bag. Now put another brown bag on top of the garment and iron (low - med setting) over the spot. (If it is in the leg of the jeans, I would reccommend putting a brown paper bag inside the leg as well). You will see a dark spot appear on the paper bag. Move the paper bags around to have a clean spot over the wax. Iron again and repeat the steps until there are no more dark spots on the bag. Then launder as usual.

Ironing is the best way to get the wax out...however I used a coffee filter over the wax spot and it came right out.

placed them in the freezer and at the same time as the wax is fairly troublesome , scrape it off...think ofyou've got to apply the iron and newspaper, because the above poster reported, afterwards to absorb the residue.

you have to freeze it, then scrape as much of it off as you can.
NEVER try to iron it off, because you will bake the grease into the jeans and you will permanently have a stain.

I think you freeze it and then scrape it off with a butter knife or something you can pick it off with that won't snag your denim.
