Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. I post questions as entertainment value that I know the answer and let people have fun with them on a Friday night or so. Other questions that I really need the information, Yes< I do send them a thanks. But in your case, Thank you for posting your question and enjoy your weekend. TGIF!

well, sometime. if the question is nice and it was difficult to choose a best answer for the asker and he choosed mine as the best. then of course i thank the asker, and i think i should.

Depends....if it's a friend, sometimes I don't....if it's a stranger, someone out of the blue, then yes I usually do

yes i do, even if i post a reply and forget to thank them. i will go back and make a second comment to do so. it's just ordinary politeness, IMHO.
