It comes down to these 3 things:
1. Live beneath your means. In other words, spend less than you can afford. That means living in not as nice of a home, driving a less expensive or used car, not going on as many fancy trips, or cheaper ones, etc.
2. Invest or save that money that you didn't spend in your own business, real estate, or other investments like Stocks, bonds, CDs or mutual funds. And you do this every month for years and years.
3. Get as an advanced education as you can. College graduates, especially those with Masters or PhDs earn far more than non-college graduates.
These subjects are covered very well in a book that studied how rich people became rich. It's called The Millionaire Next Door. It's probably available in your library or used. I strongly recommend reading it.

Firstly, ask yourself; are you willing to do whatever it takes to become a millionaire?
To get something, there will always be sacrifices.
1. You have to start saving money. That will mean you have to sacrifice those things that you used to buy. Like new gadgets.
Save 10% of your income.
2. Use that 10% to invest in assets that will generate more income for you.
3. Start a business, build multiple source of income. Do not rely on just one source. But build them one at a time.
4. Educate yourself. Learn from people who has done it before. Read a book, attend a seminar.
