There are two QB's head and shoulders above the rest right now. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Manning has the better individual numbers but Brady plays more within the designed team structure. Both are extremely effective and should be regarded as the very best in football.

There is a difference, there are good NFL QB's and then there are good Fantasy QB's.

The Best QB's in the NFL: Peyton Manning, Tom Brady

Best Fantasy QB's: Drew Brees, Trent Green(When healthy).

Those 2 will get you lots of Yardage and TD's but neccessarily are not in the top NFL QB's

Peyton Manning is going to give you the most fantasy points.
Drew Brees is another good fantasy QB, Carson Palmer can rack the points up on occasion, oh and lets not forget Brady.

Every year theres a QB who really shines and has a great year, but its the ones that consistantly have good years that you should try to grab. Manning, Brady and now Palmer are all very solid.

Guys like Breese and Rivers need to perform solidly for a couple more years.

Sometimes your backup QB will surprise you and be you top performer.

If it's for fantasy football, I'll go with Drew Brees, Carson Palmer, or Peyton Manning.

I'm going to go in a different directiona and say to not try and draft the best qb unless some how a great one slips a round ot 2, you can still get a good one in a late round (ala drew brees last year). you would be better served getting rbs with your early picks, draft them early and often, then when you think you have enough, draft another one. players get injured on your team so rb depth is crutial or you can get a kings ransom from your opponents who didn't draft for depth and need another rb after injury.

The Saints and Drew Brees. He put up great numbers and is an excellent fantasy QB.

Well, I think its Tom Brady myself, as far as winning games...but for Fantasy Football, which is all about the stats, you can't argue with Peyton Manning...

Carston Palmer is probably the best stat maker for fantasy. Peyton a close second.
