I have this dream about 2-3 times a month that I die drowning inside the Titanic. I don't really believe in past lives, but maybe they really do exist... My whole life I have been afraid of being under the water for a long time.

I have begun in recent years to try to understand my own dreams, and how I play a part in them.

First, as none of us really know what happens after death, we cannot determine for fact whether or not reincarnation exists. But like everything else - I think it could be a possibility.

I would start asking yourself questions about the key elements in your dream: Are you sure it's the Titanic? Are there distinctive colors? Are you by chance reliving scenes from the movies Titanic (1943/1953/1997 - depending on if you've seen more than one - these are the most commonly seen movies)? Do you have a name in your dreams? Does anyone else have a name in the dreams? Can you research them? Etc.

I would also look into whether or not any family member may have been invovled in that event - died or not.

These are things I would start searching for - and as soon as the dream occurs, wake up and write EVERYTHING down. Keep a thick journal down. Record what days, the times they occur, and maybe what's going on in the solar system (full moon, new moon, planets in orbit). It seems like a lot, but I've noticed that I have certain dreams with similar characteristics around events like this. Granted, not the same dream, but similar ones.

I would look into buying a paperback book, The Art of Dreaming - Carlos Castaneda. It's a great book about using your consciousness and unconsciousness to control the other - in dreams. I have slowly begun to control my nightmares. My conscious now knows to trigger itself, wakeup and proceed to alter the unconscious into something better. It's kind of cool, because, although you're in sleep mode, your brain kicks on and goes "Wait, this is a dream. This is lame. Okay, that's not going to happen anymore. Time to change this event." It's really super cool, but takes a lot of practice. Maybe that is what you need to do to perhaps stop this dream. Alter it. Make yourself survive.

The other posibility is that perhaps a spirit is trying to connect with you, to share with you their story. Again, we don't really have solid evidence as to what happens after death, so someone may be trying to tell you their story. Maybe they don't want to be forgotten.

Any of these are completely possible, or it could just be eating the same certain things before bed when you dream them. I would keep all posibilities open. And record EVERYTHING you can about them.

Good luck!

You want a real answer? Save up your money, and get a GOOD, qualified hypnotist to regress you. Check out the Bridey Murphy recordings (you can still find it online). I really want to stress, though, that you use a QUALIFIED, good hypnotist, not someone's brother-in-law who learned to do it through the mail or something. Check first, they have certifications that don't look like they were done on a home printer. It's very possible that it's true, but regression is really the only way to find out.

Dreams can be caused from too much pizza or too many movies. They are your subconscious putting a pattern together, and your brain attaching an emotion to it. You admit you live vicariously through that movie (I have special ones too) and that is why your dreams often put you in that setting. Try IMAGING the movie using other, calmer scenes that you loved also. Worked for me!! Good Luck!! @8-)

I highly doubt it, i'm sure you've seen the movie "Titantic" a few months ago, if you have. Then thats the likely reason why you're having those dreams.

Read the book about dreams
It sounds like you are worrying or being "weighed down" by something or someone.

Maybe... One never knows. It's likely you won't find out the true answer, either.
