Most hardware store will sell a spray that will kill them. they eat paper like products, leaving a hole for other nasties to get in. Get rid of them ASAP.

get a couple squares of toilet paper, ball it up, and place it over the silverfish, then press down.... Those things are nasty and when they get big they look freaky with all their legs... so if you have big ones then you most likely have small ones too... so find a bug spray thats for them, or get an exterminator...

Try Boric acid. that will kill the silverfish! and cinnamon will too that will be a more safety thing to do if you have kids or pets.
