no - they just scrounge off the state. you can't work and look after a child at the same time - that's why it takes 2 to make a baby and 2 to look after it. why should I pay my taxes to support some council estate mother and her screaming brat because she decided to get up the duff and not get a job

It is not a case of encouraging lone parent families, it is a case of supporting them & giving then the same social standing as any all other families. Children ca be loved & cared for in any type of family if the parent or parents are dedicated to their child & not all lone parents are that out of choice.

lone parents aren't encouraged any one can become a single parent whether its their fault or not, partners can die or leave they maybe have an ex partner but they are still classed as single parent .
Hats of to anyone on their own trying to raise a family and i'm sure alot didn't think when they had a child hey i think i'll do this by myself.

i'm from a lone parent family, and from what i've seen my mother go through over the years trying to raise me and my sister... i wouldn't wish that upon anyone
