so what was Kepplers big secret on CSI? I missed that episode!?

He killed someone when he was young. He was dating a girl named Amy and, Frank, her father told him she was raped by some guy, so Keppler found him and shot him. In the episode, he found out that Frank had been sexually abusing her, so he killed the man for no reason. In the end, Keppler and Frank shot each other.

Keppler's had a g/f or wife named Amy....had been repeatedly raped by her own father that Keppler respected & worked with (he was a cop). Keppler never knew...the father convinced Keppler that a black man had raped Amy (guy was innocent) & Keppler sought revenge & shot the innocent guy. He told the g/f's dad about it and the pervert helped to "cover it up", so Keppler won't get into trouble....they chalked it up to an unsolved mugging or gang shooting or something....
Keppler still 10 yrs later doesn't know the old pervert is/was a dirty cop & the guy & one of his retired cop buddies go to vegas for the weekend. Long story short, the buddy gets killed along with a prostitute (make it look like the pimp did it type thing)...but old pervert really killed him cause he was gonna rat on some of old pervert's bad cop dealings (which would have brought Keppler's killing an innocent man to light as well)....
Old pervert didn't realize that there was a 2nd girl (prostitute) in the room that witnessed everything....longer story short....Keppler finds out the girl's name ..gives it pervert thinking he's trying to help....Pervert gets girl is going to kill her (no witnesses no testimony)..Keppler shows up..confronts old dude about how he finally figured it all out....takes a bullet for the prostitute...girl gets away...Keppler dies....Grisham came back....pretty much it..hope this helped....
