There are several colleges to choose from. Just make sure to get good grades, take the requirements need for med school, get into a good med school (apply to several to make sure that you get accepted into a med school), and then apply for residency in the beginning of your fourth year of med school. While you are doing med school, you can do rotations at other schools to kinda feel them out as well (usually month long rotations during your fourth year). Unfortunately, we do not have an emergency medicine residency where I currently work, but when I worked at a different hospital, we had a lot of ER residents moonlighting and they were doing their residencies up in Detroit (big city would be a good place to get an interesting ER residency).

You will need to follow the pre-med curriculum in your undergraduate studies and prepare to take the MCAT exam. I suggest that for now read some of the information below, concentrate of keeping that GPA up, prepare to enter undergraduate studies and make a firm decision to make the sacrifices needed to become a health care provider.
The decision of a specialty in medical practice will be made during medical school.
