Not usually when you leave but they kept bloody chasing me for months after leaving them with special offers and things...Problem is then you have to go through the whole palaver of getting it connected again. It's generally just an expensive pain in the ****......

well i did that, i rang sky and told that i wanted to cancel my contract with them, they asked me why, i told them that telewest are giving me a better deal, so off course they half my monthly payments for 6 months,and they give me a sky plus box aswell because i had the old one, give it i try. three off my family members have done that as well.

They might do. I work in a customer service environment and if a customer tells me they want to leave, I let them leave. It depends on who you speak to. Some company orienated person might beg you to stay, but I would call your bluff.

We have just cancelled and told them we were bored with it. They phoned the other day and said if we go back, they will give us free sky broadband!! Dont think so ......

Just call up, and tell them you want to cancel your account. I remember awhile ago I got AOL free for 3 years, because I kept calling and saying I want to cancel my free subsciption, and they kept giving me more free months.
