How do you cope being stuck indoors? Do you have food? It's going to be 85 degrees in So. Calif and I can't see how you are surviving?

Yeah I'm in New york and so much snow. In the morning cars are hard to take out you have to shovel it because of law and it's very difficult to walk. Now it turned into ice and you have to walk 1mile per day. Can't go buy groceries or play outside. Uncomfortable cloths all day. The cold makes you feel uneasy. I'm sick of it and it makes you want to give up ,but that warm cozy feeling at home watching t.v. and talking with family makes it worth while than doing errands outside.

YES!!! Had to spend 45 minutes digging out a truck to get to the grocery store a few days ago. We have 18 inches here in east central Indiana, and the snowplows pushed it up to the tops of doors of my car parked on the street, then wind drifted it over the hood & top. As it has now been a balmy -4 to 15 degrees F, I will not be driving THAT car for a while. On the plus side, I did get a couple days off work (Level 3 Snow Emergency).

Enjoy your earthquakes - at least the snow will melt eventually!

What? hahahaha, snow is great. It is not like you can't completely not go out. Just wear warm clothes, that's all. Anyway appreciate it while is here and don't complain about how hot it will be in the summer then. How do we survive? Easy, play in it or just except it will be there until spring comes or it melts. lol, how can you hat snow.

I live by the great lakes where the snows can be harsh. I get cabin fever some times. I eat alot over the winter then again we all do. We've been lucky this winter with El Nino and stuff giving us a break of winter so that's better than nothing.

I am definitely sick of the snow and the frigid temps. Today 13 feel like -2 according to the weather man. It is getting really old, I have cabin fever really bad. Food wise we are fine, just have to brave the elements to get to the store. I wish I was in So. Calif. today...lol Enjoy the weather for me please. (Kansas here)

We usually get snow every winter but this winter we got more than usual. It's up to our knees and just keeps coming! We have food and things to do indoors like watch t.v.,read,dvds,play on the 'puter. But it's so blindingly white that I can't wait for spring and green growing things.

I live in Maine and we got probably 15ish" of snow. But it wasn't that bad actually it was only the second storm of the Winter. Although it is pretty cold.
