I have a bet wwith a freind. He says makiing love is the samething as having sex, and I say I can make love to a woman and i would not have to involve having sex. I say it is an attitude and it is built on the emotion of the time. My example is being in a snow covered mountan cabin with a beautiful woman, sitting on the floor, two glasses of sparkling cider, romantic music playing, a crackling fire in the fireplace, and we just hold each other and talk about life, and love. What is you opinion?

It is semantics. To some it is love and to some it is sex. Make a list of all the words that you can think of that mean intercourse, f***ing, screwing, balling, bumping uglies and you will run out of paper, digital recording or hard disk space. And some do not know the difference.
We live in world with people from hundreds of counties and use a language that has a thesaurus with dozens of words with the same meaning. And a huge percentage of the population that sez "i wanna do her".
Love is when you give to the other person for nothing in return.
Sex is when the person (either one having sex) gets off.
Both are good.

well your friend never has loved has he. i think only if you r in love should be the reason for making love. going out and randomly having sex is gross. when making love yes it should be passionate, instead wham bam and scram, it should involve some of those things you listed, the only point in just having sex is to get your rocks off, making love is enjoying time and intercourse together. you would make someone happy.

You're right. Making love has an emotional attachment and not just getting it on.
