I would love to play guitar so that I could play Creep by Radiohead while screaming out 'She's running out of heeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrreeeeeee'. What instrument do you wish you could play and to which song?

There are some great answers. Its going to be really hard to choose a best answer. Maybe we can all form a band once we've learnt our instruments. A charity record to raise lots of money for a worthwhile cause!

Bass Guitar. It's that deep, funky thing about the bass, you don't get a good rhythm going without it. Also if you saw Never mind the Buzzcocks the other night, apparently there is a note that can be played on a (double) bass that can make a woman playing orgasm, maybe the double bass would be even better!. Sounds jolly good to me!

I would most love to learn the violin! I can play the trumpet well and saxophone/ flute a little. This is a very hard question for me because I would also love to learn the piano and bagpipe! My best friend plays oboe. She's prety good but I just prefer the timbre of other instruments more.

I wish I could play the piano but I've tried and I have the most uncoordinated fingers in the world. It's like listening to Les Dawson.

As for tunes, I'd like to play anything lively and loud.

I'd like to play the Violin!! I started when i was in first year seniors but had to give it up when I moved schools half way thru!! I was really gutted as I'd love to be able to inject some violin into some heavy metal like My Dying Bride used to do (sadly no more violins). Belive me its a great mix!

I've played the violin since I was 9 (I'm 23 now) and I would LOVE to play the piano...like a prodigy, of course. I love how the piano sounds and how you can almost any type of music on it. It's so diverse and so wonderful!

The Harpsichord or the Piano forte. But, primarily, the harpsichord. It's a virtually unknown sound. I'd like to play well enough to do a Bach concerto with strings as well.

The didgeridoo, because I can't play wind instruments worth crap! Not to mention it sounds cool.

But seriously, I want to play the cello and would love to play any Rasputina song on it, they have great songs. The cello is like a voice, it sings to you.

Piano and the pipe organ, but music is not one of my gifts and my hands are small.
I like the piano because it is so versatile. The only thing I learned to play as a child was "Good King Wenceslaus" (with only one hand).
I would like to play "Jesus Christ, the Apple Tree" and "Beautiful Saviour" and my other favorite hymns.
