sims help!!!?

i love the game sims but sometimes i get really bored!! so any ways to play sims in a fun way with out cheats!!??? help!!!

The answer depends on which edition of The Sims you're referring to: The Sims 1 or The Sims 2.

***The Sims 1***
You could try to open your own home business (some require Unleashed or Makin' Magic expansions). Examples include selling garden gnomes, paintings, fruits and veggies, butter, and/or juice. You could try to get simoleons this way instead of getting a job.

***The Sims 2***
While each expansion opens up new realms of possible enjoyment, you could also try your hand at a Legacy. Legacies are self-made goals of making your family last to a certain generation using certain conditions. Each condition gives you points towards your Legacy, though, as it is technically not an in-game option, it all on the honor system. For more on Legacies, check my sources.

You could also try playing a sim (or a family of sims) with a special condition, such as Vampirism or Lycanthropy (AKA Werewolfism). You'd need the Nightlife and Pets expansions, respectively, to play as these. Half the fun is trying to get afflicted by these conditions. I once had a family with a vampire, werewolf, alien, and zombie. Good times.

If you want to have fun with your sims, get all the expansion packs. Here they are: Sims, Sims Livin' Large, Sims House Party, Sims Unleashed, Sims Superstar, Sims Makin' Magic, Sims Hot Date, Sims Vacation, and Sims Deluxe Edition. (Sims Deluxe Edition is better because it includes Livin' Large and an exclusive deluxe content). If you want to have your sims living the luxury life type in rosebud, by doing CTRL, Shift, and C on the keyboard. Press them all at the same time, then a grey box should appear in the top left-hand corner. Type in rosebud! Have fun!

Let them have tons of children and give them jobs. Or do some home improvement. Build a bunch of houses. I like to make drama with my Sims. I have Sims cheat on other Sims, and have children with them. The possibilities are endless!

Somethings I do on Sims are The Legacy Chalenges. if you go to Sims 2.com and go to the fprum boards, there is a whole category of chalenges. There allot of fun to try.

Also, I love finding blueprints and floorplans of real houses on the net and creating them in the Sims. Building houses is my favorite part : )
Also, the Seasons exp will be out soon and that should add lots of new fun things!
