Yes, we have tens of thousands of people involved in a secret moon-mining operation. Not one of them has blabbed.
*sarcasm off*
Are you really that stupid? And how come people who ask this question always have atrocious grammar skills?

This question comes up on average twice a day (that I know of, perhaps many more time that I do NOT know of as I am not on Yahoo! 24/7) so I will given by rebuttal #1:
The Soviets were at a space race against the USA in thew 1960 to get on the moon first. The Soviets had both the means AND the desire to prove the US lunar landing was a hoax IF it was; they did not say anything along those lines because they KNEW it was real.
Now, for the second item on you list: how come there is no more landing on the moon after that? Because the USA became preoccupied with other things: the Watergate scandal and the Viet-Nam war, and the mid-1970's oil crisis, plus the recession, and the disinterest from the general public saw a reduction in the NASA budget. The last human landing in 1972 (Apollo 17, December 1972 was the 6th and last human moon mission) was done in what was essentially general public indifference.
Then NASA put all its marbles in the space shuttle, which, thanks to political intervention to make it cheaper, became not as capable as it was supposed to be, and actually more expensive than it would have been had the NASA scientists had their way.
Now, for the real interesting bit, here is your own contradiction: on the one hand you claim that the 1969 landing was fake, but that thay are ON THE MOON, mining away?
I mean, do you have any idea how complex a mining operation needs to be on the moon? How many huge rockets would be needed? And they would have faked the first landing to cover a much bigger real landing with mining processing facilities?
Think about it.

That's the saddest argument yet! There's no new moon mission footage because no one else has gone to the moon. Why not? It's a combination of money and purpose. Congress won't appropriate money for a very expensive manned moon mission unless there is a good reason to go there. The last three Apollo missions were cancelled because the politicians figured we'd already made our point to the Soviets and all we'd be doing would be collecting moon rocks and taking the odd golf shot. There was never a plan for a permanent base. (The hull of the LEM was essentially made of heavy-duty tinfoil.)
Nowadays, we have enough information to make some very smart and reprogrammable robots that can do nearly as much as an astronaut can, without all that extra air, water, food and waste. The risk to reward ratio is tipped toward robots. We'd have to have a very, very, very good reason to spend the money to send people to the Moon now. Some think preparation for the manned Mars mission is a good reason, but even THAT mission will have to be justified in terms of risk and reward.
Mining the Moon is not cost effective. You've got raw, heavy ore. What will you do with it? Send it to Earth? How? Smelt it in space or on the Moon? You're going to need some heavy equipment to get started and it will have to come from Earth. We're rationing our shuttle missions as it is and we can track rockets headed toward the Moon. And you'll still have a heavy refined material with no place to go.
Until we have a very good, cost effective reason to be working on the Moon, we won't be back. The Apollo program was as much a political stunt as practical science. It was great while it lasted but it was doomed to end because the results weren't worth the effort.

Why would they fake something like that? They spent so much money on that one project. Besides if they lied the US would know by know. Plus why would the president (at the time) write a speach about how the astronauts are going to die. We know the short and simple version of moon landing. In truth Armstrong had only 15 seconds of fuel left to land the module and Buzz broke a critical wire that was needed to get off the moon because they were in a hurry to get out on the surface of the moon. That explains the speach that the president wrote. Thanks to Buzz's quick thinking he saved the day with the head of a pin. I know this sounds like Bullshit but it's the true story of what happened. Theres a hell of a lot more that most of us don't know. Watch the show "Man on the Moon" it will tell a lot more than what I just told you.

It is a good possibility. We were in a huge race back then with Russia to be the first people on the moon. Google "moon landing hoax" you will get lots of info about it on there. One of the thinbgs that I have always wondered is how come the astronaunt resighed shortily after the got back to earth. They never made any on camera press conferenced to actually talk about it....well I think they did one. They say it was filmed in area 51

If you believe that the moon landings were a hoax, then you've been hoaxed yourself.
Use your head: Considering how much effort it would take, how many things would have to be coordinated, AND how many people's silence you'd have to ensure, faking a moon landing would be harder than doing it for real.

Hey, dude...the whole moon is a NASA hoax. Also the Earth is flat, and Elvis is alive and working in a donut shop in Cleveland. I know this is all true because I read it on the interent.

Try watching NASA TV sometime if you want to see video of moon landings. They run retrospectives of all the Apollo missions regularly.

lol everyday i see this question. I think that our astronauts actually placed a mirror or something of the sort that if you knew where to point it you could bounce a laser off of it to prove we have been there. Then theres the flag.
