My overall favourite American Idol winner is Carrie Underwood.
1. Carrie Underwood - I think she appeals to any age or genre.
2. Clay Aiken (even though he was second) - I think overall he has all the "pop" Idol qaulities for people age 5 to 105.
3. Kelly Clarkson.
4. Tayler Hicks.
5. Ruben Studdard.
6. Fantasia.

1. Carrie Underwood is my favorite. I love country music!! And she has a very nice tone when she sings. Like you said, she also appeals to everyone!
2. I Love Kelly Clarkson too, I like how she was the first one, and she signed up for this without even knowing what it was going to be like. After her first album, she took a while to make another one, because she wanted to record what she wanted, not what someone else wanted. She has kinda tried to distance herself from American Idol...but can you really blame her? Shes wanting to do her own thing right now, which is great.
3. Clay Aiken, LOVE him. Such a good voice, and did very well for coming in second.
4. Ruben had a good voice, but didnt really do much once he won...
5. Taylor...didnt love him, didnt hate him. Dont really care about him...I Liked Katharine better.
6. Fantasia. Cant stand her. I dont think she has that great of a voice. And she is basicly one big pitty party. Whatever, no one cares about her. She sold hardly any records. And the biggest thing she ever did was record that lifetime movie. I thought this was a singing competition, not an action compeition..

1. Clay Aiken - because he is an amazing singer and has a wonderful personality!!
2. Taylor Hicks - Awesome singer with alot of soul.
3. Kelly Clarkson - A great singer.
4. Fantasia - She has a good voice.
5. Carrie Underwood - Her personality seems fake to me.
6. Ruben Studdard - Clay should have won. lol! Clay has a way better voice than Ruben.
