It depends on the sound you want. Do you want a classic rock or punk sound? Then go for the LP. If you want more of a Shredder type of Metal sound then go for the Dean or consider an ESP, which are better guitars than the Deans in My Opinion.
Which ever you choose, go play it at a guitar store before you buy it.

Les PAUL, man!
That razorback thing looks very dated & cheesy. The kinda guitar you'll feel embarassed to show in public in your 30s & beyond.
The LP is timeless.

The guitar. Phones are a lame thing to spend too much on. Besides, there will be a better phone out in a month or so....an then a month after that...etc...
