I don't think she is entitled, call the closest Social Security dept. and get some info from them, actually, here in Fl. if you go to jail, you lose your S.S. till the matter is cleared up. If this person keeps the check, report her, remember, we taxpayers are taking care of those on s.s. and I know I don't want to be paying in so someone, (who is probably just plain lazy), reaps the benefits. Got three words to say TURN EM IN. Like me, I'm sure you don't need to take care of some scam artist, right? Right. You can do this anonymously. Good Luck

If he is going to be locked up for a year you have to report it to Social Security.

yes, the checks should still continues, being incarcerated does not make you ineligable for recieving government subsidies.
everything should run as if he were not incarcerated.
