What horoscope signs would you say are compatable with a Scorpio?

I am a Scorpio, born on the 25th of October, and I'm not really sure if I believe this stuff but it's pretty cool and I would like to know.

any water and earth signs will be compatable-as well as some others, depending on your entire chart. My sun sign is cancer, my husband is virgo, but our other planets are in other signs as well. Moon sign and Rising signs can define where your relationships will go.

I have a lot of Scorpio friends. I love them. I am a Taurus and I will be honest, I won't hide the fact we really disagree, misunderstand and misinterpret in different situations..also how different from each other we are in the way we think, consider, realize the facts, coordinate our ideas but most of the time we want to obtain the same goals. Scorpio people are honest, tolerant, open minded and true friends, they can really keep a secret and the Taurus people show respect and admiration to the Scorpio qualities. But because the both sides are very stubborn, someone needs to compromise, and I really think I am the one to make the first move after a disagreement. I know the Scorpio people are very pride and I really am trying never to insult their dignity and if I see something can hurt them I just try to avoid it by all means. Once being hurt the Scorpio won't forgive easily and will revenge 10 times back in return. So I think Leo guys are not the best match for a Scorpio girl, neither Aries guys.

For friends I strongly recommend Pisces, Virgos, Capricorns. If you wanna someone to care a lot for you like a friend and fight for you when you go into a trouble and back you even if you are not the right side into an argument but you need a supporter get a Taurus friend. Talking about relationship with a boy my advice is a Cancer. I think the Cancer boy can share a deep emotional peace with the Scorpio girl but they both will hide their inner feelings until one moment they completely trust each other and share everything together.

I hope I gave some insight. Yeah true, no need to believe it all but just you can learn for fun some information you consider correct and apply it to reality just to test if it is working. The question shouldn't be what sign is suitable for a Scorpio, but more accurately, what sign would be suitable for you?

You're a Scorpio, no doubt about that, since you were born a day after the cusp between Libra and Scorpio. BUT all that says about you, is that the Sun was in the sign of Scorpio at your time of birth. That only says a part of who you are. There are also the moon, mercury, venus and mars to consider, at least, if you don't have any major aspects to those gas giants out there - jupiter, saturn, uranus or neptune... and, let's not forget Pluto, who isn't a planet anymore but, hell, let him have this one!
The sun makes up a good part of your personality. The other parts are filled in by moon, mercury, venus and mars. The aspects they make to outer planets, makes that your personality typical to that planet, will be emphasised by that outer planet's typical characteristics - for example, a Venus conjunct Neptune is a hopeless romantic. Venus stands for love and romance sometimes, and Neptune stands for illusions, acting the victim, dreams, hopes, things like that.

Anyway, you being born on the 25th says you're a Scorpio. We know that much. What we don't know, is where those planets are in your birth chart. Are they in Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius even? Mercury and Venus are usually close to and in the same sign as the sun, because their orbit lies between the earth's and the sun itself, which makes them look from the earth like they never really leave the sun that much. In fact, Mercury can only be 28° away from the sun at most, and Venus just about 45° - so Venus can be two signs away whereas Mercury is usually the same sign or the signs before or after the sign the sun is in.
Mars can be in any sign, just like the moon.

But those 5 make up a great deal of your personality and shouldn't be ignored. Then there's also the Rising sign - that is the sign which is rising on the horizon at your time of birth. If you were born at sunrise, your rising sign would be the same as your sun sign. But that little thing also makes up a great deal of your personality - or better yet, it tells how people see you. If you are a scorpio and have a Taurus rising for example, people will take you for a Taurus, or might guess you're a Virgo or a Capricorn either, cos to them, your actions would be typical to Taurus, or to an Earth sign.

Anyway, combine those parts of your horoscope, and you might have a better view on what sign would be suitable for you.

For example, I am a Scorpio. In general they say scorpios go well only with capricorn or with themselves. Other people say scorpio's would go well with pisces because they're both water signs. I don't go well with capricorn. I don't go well with other water signs, although I have to admit I've never tried it with a scorpio before. I generally go well with Virgo, Leo, Aquarius, Aries or Sagittarius. As you would have noticed, all the Fire signs are in there. This for the simple reason that in my case, mercury and venus are in sagittarius, and my rising is - arguably - also in sagittarius (it is actually 28° Scorpio, according to my birth cert, but those times can be off) and because my moon is in gemini, a very fickle and seemingly unemotional sign - I get over things quickly, or at least it seems I do - water signs don't like me at all. They want emotion, pure passion. No cold shoulder.

It can be different for you. For example, Air signs could be suitable for you because your venus is in Libra, or you might just attract Scorpio's the most because you have most of your planets in scorpio. You have a good chance of attracting Aries when you have loads of planets in the 1st house (housing system comes from the Rising-Descending axis, and is a bit long to explain here, but if you make yourself a chart, you'll understand what I'm talking about with that 1st house thing) etc, etc...

So, in short, different Scorpio's could have different suitable signs, you can figure out for yourself which sign would be suitable for you.

But then, there's to consider a possible candidate of the sign you think is good for you, if he has planetary placements that would make yourself suitable to his needs...

You definitly want to stay away from fire signs (aries, leo, sagittarius). The sex will be amazing, but the emotional bond will be pretty non existant. You have to be in control and a fire sign will not allow for that
