Mr. Powell would be a strong Leader. I would have full confidence in Him. I believe His Wife is the main reason He would not accept. I understand She has expressed concern for His life if He actually Won.
I certainly hope we have grown past any possibility of something so horrible.

I think Powell was the political favor to the NAACP and His forcing the Cencom commander that really did the planning our and claiming credits for others work was deplorable. You seem to forget Powell was a political general not a real field commander with the staff to plan things like swartzkolph. Powell's highest command in the field was a lower level one. His foreign affairs created the decline in US image. I admire his career but do not feel He is qualified to be president.

Colin Powell is weak, indecisive and unprincipled. I think he would be a ghastly president.

His son Mike is one of the leaders in the conglomeration of media magnates. He is fighting to unrestrict the law by allowing big corps to buy as many channels as they want, limiting our reality. I don't think so when Hunter/Huckabee prove better.

I think he would be an excellent president and I do think many would rally behind him. However I don’t think he will ever run he got his taste of politics.

I think that he could handle being president. But, he would be the first black, so, unfortunately, he has a larger chance of being assassinated than a white guy.
Personally, I think he'd be great.
